In a unique community collaboration, Aboriginal artists have partnered with Water Corporation and Community Arts Network (CAN) to transform a Guildford wastewater pump station into a vibrant and culturally significant public artwork.
Water Minister Dave Kelly today announced that construction has started on a $25.6 million upgrade to the Vasse Diversion Drain in Busselton, which will improve flood mitigation for the town during significant rainfall events.
Those travelling past Bunbury Train Station will not be able to miss a striking public mural by local artist Luke O’Donohoe, which now adorns an everyday wastewater pump station on Picton Road.
