Trapped air is giving water a white or milky appearance for some customers in Beckenham, Gosnells, Huntingdale, Thornlie and surrounds. Recent works inadvertently trapped air inside a pressurised water main with the concentrated air bubbles causing the temporary appearance. Despite its appearance, water remains safe to use as normal, and it will clear within a few minutes left standing in an open container. We are working to flush the air from the affected pipes but the issue is likely to continue until early next week. We reiterate the water remains safe to use and apologise for any inconvenience caused.
